1. Who we are

HealthcareChoices101 LLC ("HealthcareChoices101," "we," "us") is a division of Expert Insurance Group LLC. We are licensed insurance agents who help people in Texas understand and enroll in Medicare and health insurance plans.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you visit hcc101.com, healthcarechoices101.com or myeig.com (the "Site"), fill out a form, or talk with one of our agents by phone, email, text or in person.

By using the Site or giving us your information, you agree to this Privacy Notice.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to help you compare and enroll in coverage.

We do not ask for bank or card numbers on the Site. If a plan premium payment is set up, it is handled directly with the insurance carrier.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your questions and requests for a call back

  • Compare Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, Medicare Supplement and other plans, including checking whether your doctors and drugs are covered

  • Submit enrollment applications to the insurance carriers you choose

  • Provide ongoing service, such as annual plan reviews and help with claims or billing questions

  • Send you plan updates, reminders and educational information you have agreed to receive

  • Meet our legal and regulatory duties, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Texas Department of Insurance requirements

  • Improve and secure the Site

4. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Insurance carriers we represent, when you ask for a quote or choose to enroll in their plan

  • Government agencies, such as CMS or the Texas Department of Insurance, when required for enrollment, audits or compliance

  • Service providers that help us run our business (for example, CRM, email, phone and website hosting providers). They may use your information only to perform services for us and must keep it confidential.

  • Your authorized representatives, such as a family member or power of attorney you name

  • Legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients or our business

  • Business transfers, if Expert Insurance Group LLC or HealthcareChoices101 LLC is merged, sold or reorganized, subject to this Privacy Notice

We do not share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Site and its hosting platform use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it. We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, that collect information about your visit; this information is not used to identify you personally.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly without them. Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

6. Health information, consent to contact and Medicare disclosures

Health information. When you share your doctors, prescriptions or other health details, we use them only to find and enroll you in suitable coverage. When we act on behalf of an insurance carrier, we protect this information as required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), our carrier agreements and Texas law.

Consent to contact. If you submit a form on the Site, you agree to be contacted by licensed agents of HealthcareChoices101 and/or Expert Insurance Group LLC by email, phone call, text message or pre-recorded message at the contact details you provide, as described on the form. Consent is not required to buy a plan. You may revoke it at any time by replying STOP to a text, asking us on a call, or emailing us. Message and data rates may apply.

Medicare disclosures. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048) or your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for information on all of your options. Talking with us does not affect your current or future coverage unless you choose to enroll. HealthcareChoices101 is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

7. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include password-protected systems, limited staff access and secure handling of paper records. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep your information for as long as you are our client and afterward as required by law and our carrier contracts. CMS generally requires agents to keep enrollment records for at least 10 years. When we no longer need records, we dispose of them securely.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you

  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date

  • Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law or carrier contract

  • Stop sending marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) or texts (reply STOP)

  • Stop calling you, or add you to our internal do-not-call list

Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and Texas insurance privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Children, other websites and changes

Children. The Site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.

Other websites. The Site may link to insurance carriers, Medicare.gov and other sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes. We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

10. SMS Terms of Service
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from Healthcare Choices 101. This includes SMS messages for conversations (external). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See privacy policy at https://www.myeig.com/general-5. Message HELP for help. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
